We tried out crayons for the first time last week! Matthew & Claire enjoyed coloring on the paper (and other items). Luckily the crayons I bought were washable, so they come off of surfaces pretty easily. Matthew was a little rough with his project, in fact, he ended up with 2 crayons at the end because he snapped his blue crayon in half. Claire was her usual dainty-self with her project, she colored her paper and chatted about it the entire time. There was a slight meltdown at the end of coloring time, neither of them wanted to give the crayon back. But, I decided that having them be a little angry for a minute or two was better than them eating the crayons.
